I would very much like to express my gratitude and recognition for an infinite number of seriously ill patients who would be dead today if it wasn’t for all the e’Pap porridge that you sent us to confront the most serious malnutrition problems. – Father Florent, medical surgeon at Hospital Saint Jean de Dieu
On a remote border area between Togo and Burkina Faso lies the Saint Jean de Dieu hospital, a missionary nutrition and child centre in northern Benin whose pediatric wing was created by Italian activist-journalist Roberto Savio. The hospital is dedicated to bringing relief to individuals and communities affected by malnutrition, HIV/AIDS, typhoid, and tuberculosis, and have used our e’Pap porridge to assist recovering patients and children with great success – within eight weeks of consistently eating e’Pap, 88% of previously malnourished children were defined “nutritionally normal” with none being severely malnourished any longer.
